Records and access

StayTurn stores property and stay details, photos, receipts, notes, costs, imported reservations, checklists, preferences and recovery copies in local app storage. The core app needs no account.

In a connected workspace, saved changes and files synchronize automatically on Neon and Vercel infrastructure. StayTurn holds the encryption keys and can decrypt shared records for authorized workspace operators.

Shopify hosts sign-in. StayTurn checks verified account identifiers, purchase and refund status, workspace membership and session records. It never receives your payment-card details.

No advertising trackers, no sale of personal information, no automatic upload of local-only records, no automated submission to a booking platform or insurer.

Photos and context

Camera or photo-library access is requested only when you add a photo or receipt. StayTurn never scans your library in the background. Selected files join the stay record and synchronize if that record is in a connected workspace.

Room, phase, item and incident details are entries by the contributor or host. Device file time, local save time and service receipt time are kept separately, and none verifies when a photo was taken. StayTurn requests no location. Originals may already carry camera or location metadata. Review them before sharing.

Cleaner and contributor links

A contributor link accepts selected files and an optional name without an account. Files wait encrypted in a delivery queue until the host reviews them. Anyone holding the link can upload during its window. Share it only with the intended person.

A connected cleaner job shares its property label, cleaner display name, time window, time zone and instructions. The link holder can respond and send files and notes without an account. StayTurn records the schedule, received content, responses, host decisions and service receipt times. The holder's identity is not verified.

Cleaner originals, notes and upload progress are saved encrypted in that browser when storage allows. Open the page online first and reopen saved work with the same link.

StayTurn can recover an invitation's secrets so authorized workspace members can reopen it. This is not end-to-end encryption from StayTurn. An invitation covers one job. Reassignment revokes it but cannot recall information already downloaded or copied.

Storage and deletion

You control exports, sharing and deletion. Local records stay until you delete them, clear app storage or remove the app, subject to your device backups. A browser can clear its storage, and signing out does not erase local files. Anyone with the browser and a cleaner job link may reopen saved work, so keep original photos until receipt is confirmed.

Shared records stay available to authorized workspace operators. Removing an operator stops future access, not copies already received or exported. Ask support to delete shared workspace information.

Contributor links close after 72 hours or when revoked. Pending files stay for review until the host saves or discards them. Unfinished uploads stay encrypted in the contributor's browser for retry.

Cleaner content and received files are kept for 90 days after the last job activity unless deleted sooner. Changes, responses, uploads and review decisions restart that period. Opening the job does not. Incomplete uploads become eligible for cleanup after 24 hours.

Workspace members can export a job record and delete its content. Deletion closes the invitation and removes the schedule, secrets and history. Background cleanup removes the encrypted uploads, and a minimal record prevents reuse of that invitation. Files saved into a stay, exports and downloaded copies are separate.

Other services

Direct Photo Drop moves files between two devices that stay connected during the transfer. Its connection messages expire within one hour.

Public rental research and market requests do not include your stay record. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process your IP address, device or browser type, time and requested page for security, reliability and abuse prevention.

The hosted web app uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits without analytics cookies. Reports include aggregate browser, device and approximate location data. StayTurn sends a fixed app-page address, without account details, invitation links or stay records. Visits with an unrecognized referring page are excluded. This analytics feature does not run in the installed phone apps or the downloaded computer kit.

If you opt in during a web visit, StayTurn adds anonymous daily event counts for your first saved stay, accepted cleaner handoff and completed export, without account details or stay contents.

Support uses the message and address you send to answer, secure and document your request.

Children, changes and contact

StayTurn is a business tool for rental operators. It is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect their personal information.

Material changes appear here with a new effective date. Privacy questions and deletion requests go to StayTurn support. Include the workspace or job you mean.
